Our Story
Factory discipline. Quality homes.
Sam's standard for finish was set at Ford Motor Company of Australia. He started as a factory employee on the floor, then climbed to supervisor because he was the person who would not let quality slip. Later years were in paint — the last chance to get a product right before it left the plant. Factory work teaches a simple rule: quality is a process, not a personality.
That rule became his first company, Up 2 Date Painting. Different product, same insistence that the surface you live with every day should still look considered years later. Walking those sites, he kept seeing the same gap: too many Victorian builds were a chain of trades, not a controlled sequence. The finish suffered in the handoffs.
So he stepped into construction to close it — to orchestrate a home the way a well-run factory runs a line. Planned stages. Inspected work. A standard that does not drop between slab and keys. RERONA is that idea, applied to quality homes.
Founded in 2011 and still directed by Sam, we build custom homes, knockdown rebuilds, and first-home projects across Victoria with that factory-quality discipline: workmanship you can see, and a process you can follow from first conversation to handover.
